Glass cosmetic bottles can either be inkjet printed or pad printed depending on the number of colors required as well as the number of items needed to be printed. For this application of cosmetic bottle printing, the MG ink series was used to pad print a 1-color logo onto each bottle. The MG ink series is a highly opaque ink with a gloss finish. It is quick drying and is available in 21 High Opacity standard shades, and 5 metallic shades. The pad printer used in this application was the Volta M100. The B100 is able to print logos or graphics up to 3.5” (90mm) in diameter.
