The Problem:
A customer recently approached Boston Industrial Solutions, Inc. looking for an ink that they could print with at high speed. Needing a reliable ink to brand their glass bottles, they were unsure where to start.
The customer had certain requests for the final product: that the ink finishes with high opacity and high gloss. They also needed an ink that would be able to withstand chemical exposure (alcohol and alkali) and had industrial dishwasher resistance.
The Solution:
With these requirements in mind, our team provided them with the Natron® UVPX ink – the premier ink for UV printing on a wide range of substrates. This versatile ink provided them with the durability they were looking for as well as giving them the crisp and bright finish they wanted.
Natron® UVPX ink is unmatched in its versatility and reliability on a range of substrates including glass and plastics. Additionally, no heat is needed to cure this ink unlike other glass screen printing ink. It prints at the speed of light managing up to 5,000 prints per hour. Our team recommends always using the G1 adhesion promoter with UVPX on glass for maximum adhesion.
The Result:
Much to the customer’s satisfaction, their prints came out just as they had wanted. They had bright prints with superb adhesion and durability against harsh conditions. With the wealth of knowledge available at Boston Industrial Solutions, Inc., the customer was able to rely on our team to provide them with the best advice and provide ease of mind.
