TMF PAD PRINT SOLVENT FOR PAD PRINTING INKS
Use this pad printing solvent with TP and BX Series inks
The TMF pad printing solvent is formulated to work with Natron pad printing inks. Boston Industrial Solutions, Inc. has formulated the TMF solvent for pad printing applications. This solvent has a medium evaporation rate compared to the Type TSM Solvent. The evaporation rate supports fine tuning of the ink to any industrial pad printing situation.
TSF pad printing ink solvent is ideal for use in any pad printing condition. This is because the solvent provides for medium evaporation rates. Hence, this solvent will provide better process balance and enhance production output.
Type TMF Solvent characteristics:
- It keeps the ink wet during pad printing for a long time.
- extends the ink pot-life, and
- improves ink printability (excellent pad release).
- has a very low, sweet smell.

To regulate ink viscosity, add 10–20% of TMF solvent to the ink and stir until homogeneous. Learn how to mix ink.
This solvent fills the void left by our Type TSF (excellent release from printing pads) and Type TSF Solvent (slow drying and evaporating) when printing with the Natron solvent-based pad printing ink lines. Like our other solvents, the Type TMF Solvent keeps the ink wet for a longer period of time and still allows for optimal ink adhesion.
